We’re in the midst of printing shirts for next Sunday’s Olde Towne Dogge Walke, an annual event held to raise funds for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

Obviously, this is very exciting news for us. ScheduledShirts.com has been called upon to produce the first ever t-shirts for the new Washington, DC affiliate of Air America. We worked with them to find a unique, modern color for their shirts that will really stand out. Note, this is not a shirt that is offered through our online design module, but if you have an organization to promote and want to spend a little more on something truly special, we’ll help you find any kind of imprintable garment you’d like.

So, my experience with two minutes of pitching my shirts on a radio show has led me to try running some ads on the local Air America radio station here in DC, AM 1050. If you heard my ad there, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this service, and any questions you might have about getting shirts done.

10 days ago I made a call into the Ed Schultz radio show, for a segment he calls “recession buster Friday”. For an hour, he simply takes calls from small businesses around the country and gives them a couple minutes of free air time. From that one segment, I got a huge number of calls and emails about t-shirt printing, and have since printed up shirts for several different very cool groups and companies. It’s certainly convinced me of the value of radio advertising.

We have just added nearly 1,000 new clip art images to our design module. These include more animals, more sports images, great banners and frames into which you can place your text, and solid and outline versions of all 50 US states. We’ve been doing a lot of one-color jobs this week, so we decided to show off our new logo on a shirt as an excuse to print two colors.

We’re soon going to be highlighting many of our customers, telling about what they do and how they use their shirts for their group or business. Here are just a sample of some shirts we printed this week, both through the scheduledshirts.com site and through our full-service shop.
